Eucalyptus rodwayii plug plants (Swamp Peppermint)

Plug plants are 10-20 cm high seedlings grown in trays of small cells. They can be planted directly in the ground. There are 100 plug plants in a tray. Eucalypts should be planted at at a minimum of 1,667 plants per hectare although for short rotation forestry and in exposed conditions they will fair better at stocking densities of 2,000 – 2,500 per hectare. This species has a low nutrient requirement and extensive rooting ability which means that it is highly suitable for land reclamation and for shelterbelts.
