Although we are certain that many of our Willow Solutions are environmental game changers, we also know we don’t have all the answers and there are many knowledge gaps.

The theory

We know the species, the varieties, the locations where they grow, their morphology and physiology, and the ones that are good for different applications.

The practice

We have bred varieties, planted hundreds of trial plots, measured yields and other phenotypic field data, evaluated and analysed the results and produced peer reviewed scientific papers.

We have also been involved in commercial projects and understand the practical realities of planting, managing and harvesting willow on different land types, in different locations, on different soils and in every type of weather.

The vision

Our understanding of the current situation is second to none. This knowledge gives us the best vision of what is needed to advance a Willow Solution from a niche speciality to being part of the mainstream agriculture and environmental management and protection.
